ive been watching getminted poker on tv lately and i thought id have a look at the site, its not the greatest in the world and im not sure wether ill be playing much on there. what i did see that might interest some was theyre runnig some freerolls today, 2 of them at least i kmow of starting at 13.00hrs and 15.00 hrs, and theyre quite tempting $5k winner takes all. they had 1 at 10.30 as well i think it had about 1200 runners, so not a huge field.

For me the 'best' ever has to be Hendry. Despite not being a fan of Ronnie's he is IMO the most gifted player there's been. He makes the game look easier than anyone ever has. One of the most entertaining and whacky (in the best sense) was Cliff Wilson who could 'shoot the lights out' and always tried to avoid making a century. Rather than striving to win, he seemed to be more interested in expressing himself on the table. Best we never got to see? That title, in the opinion of Jimmy White, goes to Patsy Hoolihan from Deptford. Follow link to a good read from the Observer Sport Monthly. http://observer.guardian.co.uk/osm/story/0,,708304,00.html wow id forgotton cliff wilson, what atalent, such flair. thnx for the reminder

It is difficult for anyone on here to either agree or disagree with your course of action as none of us were in the given situation. Reading about it and actually being there are two totally different things. What is important is that you are comfortable in your own mind with the course of action you took. If you can look at yourself in the mirror and believe you did the correct thing, then that is what matters and not anyone else's opinions. I wish you the best of luck.
i wish i hadnt said anything now, what youve said rover is probably the best way to sum things up

i would have insisted to the woman that removing themselves immediately would be a wise move and as you already suspect hes used his vehcile as a weapon you could have restrained him until the police arrivd

if you are going to get involved in what is an obviously volatile situation i suggest you take the initative and be pro active. your behaviour i feel would only antagonise an already irate and obviously violent guy.
