Hi Friends Got up at 6.15, jumped in shower and got ready for work, left house 7.15 and argued with Poppet on way to work about washing up Got to work made a cuppa and logged on, read some emails and awaited the arrival of my team team arrived 8.30 and were rather distressed that they had new phones on their desks i calmed them down and showed them how to use the new phones Payment run failed today so we had a bit of tension trying to get suppliers paid Had a few texts and emails through day from my new man! He also called at 6 o'clock I was in Sainsburys doing the weekly shop Unpacked shopping, had something to eat, washed up and then went on Blonde...... Is anyone really that interested? ? No Should I just make things up and use others peoples lives in my blog then, would that pump it up a bit??

I can imagine negative uses and many positive uses; catharsis, a little bit of self appreciation stopping short of narcissm, but mainly I find it a fantastic medium to find out what my kids are doing and to find girlfriends of my 18 yr old son adding comments to a photo of me:
"your dad is well good looking, I would ;-)"
Made an old man feel good
Poppet has a blog and yes she gets nice comments about me too but i feel you hit the nail on the head by saying kids, is this really not just a teenager kind of thing, do the over 30's or 40's for that matter really have these blog pages if so maybe i'm missing out here!

shes not getting on at the mediums, just one blog in particular.take your issues up with the person, not me or other people who are just getting on with their own thing.
i think thats enough now.
This is an open forum, its seldom we all agree with the items discussed, I have just pointed out some negative issues with these sites, like my previous post said I am waiting to be converted into seeing the positives and i'm sure there must be some out there or myspace would not be so popular

Surely that's the fault of the person, not the medium they are using to convey the message?
Yes I agree I can see why teenagers would enjoy this kind of thing but I really couldn't see my friends catching up with my life by reading a blog, they would probably pick up the phone or meet me in the pub Each to their own I say, but I still just don't get it, maybe this thread will convert me.......who knows

but it does nobody any harm
Are you sure? I feel that some things that I have read on this blogs could upset people, I have witnessed custody and financial fights over children, slanderous comments about others, if you have a failed relationship then that person might not be right for you but why trash someone across the net....So I don't feel these blogs are always harmless fun

I haven't read yours I'm just making an overall comment, I'm aware some people love blogs but personally I just don't see the point

I just don't get the point of these blog things, I have read a few blogs on there and wonder are people really that interested in what someone has had for breakfast, or the latest ins and outs of your last break up, how long its taken to get from one part of the country to the other and how much your coffee costs at the service station?
In my day we wrote in a diary, these were often kept somewhere safe and private for no one else to see, all our emotional stuff, all the people who had pissed us off was not branded across the web for all and sundry to read.
I say to these blog writers get a life, get out there and have a bit of fun, don't fret that you haven't done your latest update, and if you do continue with these make sure that what you are writing doesn't end up in a court of law!!

All good solid answers.
But the one true thing that men find irresistable.
Is a women that wants to rip your clothes off and make you smile lots
As long as she doesn't do it to any other men though.
Ok and what if she wants to rip your clothes off on date one, do you make it to date two??
