I am getting all sort of these but not clicking the link. Some of the 'quotes' make you laugh.

One from a male mate of mine....'just took this pic, does my bum look big in it?'

I seem to be getting more and more every day.

Anyone watching Trevor Harris and Norman Pace on tonights Sky Open will have seen the hilarious time when Flea was awarded a spot prize but both Norm and Trev were convinced that Flea was a lady! Having sat next to Flea at a live event im pretty sure hes male and a regular blonde!
6  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Bad play or Unlucky? on: February 23, 2008, 06:45:59 PM
Just a quick question guys, would you say checking the nut flush on the turn to enjuice a bet is bad play, I have just done this short stacked only for the board to pair on the river to give the opponent the house? Being short stacked I wanted to get optimum value out of the hand but knew when that ace came on the river there was a distinct possibility it ad helped my opponent fill up. Thanks guys.

On Sky Poker tonight.
Won't be watching as need to make up for my valentine present by getting in a chinese takeaway and a french romantic DVD etc.  Wink

Will set up the video and speed through the highlights, so go for the win.

good luck

Whats a video?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?

Well it is actually sky plussed, but this didn't sound right. I did catch one clip of Claire going all in with 3-9 offsuit against a guy that flopped and ace high flush.  Sad

Thats a good play on sky!

i think for the show to work live on tv it has to be a fast structure, the only way to change this is for the tournament to start a few hours before the show goes on air ,but it wouldnt be live which is the whole point i suppose, a lot of players have learnt a lot from the show and know they should play a different type of game in another structure, and yeah you do get very bad players but they will improve by watching the show just like everyone else does when they are learning,Sky Poker is for amateurs and i thought poker week did show the poker scene in the uk for amateurs who play and want to play in the next level in the uk poker scene.except for the odd guest the club is no different to the open show on every night to me.

I have to agree with this, the standard on the site is so bad, I dont know why I still play on there been sucked out on twice today and it just leaves me thinking why the hell are you calling preflop with that junk, people on sky love any ace and suited cards.

Do you want them to call with the best hand or the worst hand?

I dont want to give bad beat stories but the amount of outdraws is ridiclous, and its the same old story whenever I need to gamble and push with something marginal I never outdraw.

Look forward to the show, isnt she the amazingly fit bird who was on my table with Apothecary in Bristol and she called my allin with the nuts!!!

Err.....I'm not entirely sure I could refer to any young lady as an "extremely fit bird", but yes, she's one & the same. A very pleasant young lady too, if I may say so.

Julie & Snat are currently in the Green Room, quaffing copious amounts of Red Wine.

Im sure you'd class the 2 you were chatting up on the show last night Tony as extremley fit!

15  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Luton "G" Casino, opinions please! on: January 11, 2008, 09:02:54 PM
Been to Luton once, loved the night there just a shame they dont have many freezeouts, when people are pushing blind every hand (and are quite happy to continually re-buy for £20 a time) you think why dont you just play roulette.
