Good morning all
Another fairly strong fancy at a big price. Thought I’d put it here🙏.
Hi Royal 4:40 Ascot, currently widely available at 28/1. Second in the Guineas and 3rd in the Irish version last year. I think this is the most favourable race set up since. Kevin Ryan is a capable trainer who has had a poor year, I do think he’ll turn things around. They really thought Hi Royal would be good this year, gelded at the start of the campaign, unusually for one placed in two classics, they thought they’d be going for big races this campaign. It hasn’t gone as planned but I think cut in the ground will make a decent difference. Not sure to love Ascot but I think enough similarities (straight mile, uphill to the finish) with Newmarket to take that chance. He might keep drifting, so I’m thinking BOG is important if possible and I like the E/W at a fifth first five.

Good morning
I trust everyone is doing well? I’ve made a full recovery from my brush with death and everything has been going great for a while now.
I felt this one was too good not to share. I think Woodstock in the17:45 at Newcastle has an outstanding chance. I think 7f at Newcastle is perfect for this horse. An excellent previous run, form that’s been doubly boosted since. Generally 20/1 but 22/1 of you can get on with PP. E/W would be the play if you can get1/5 4 places.
Good luck and best wishes to everyone🙏.

Good morning all
It’s been a while😅. It’s been great to see the forum making a bit of a comeback recently. Especially Tom and Tony’s diaries and Glenn winning at Luton☺️.
I really think Macduff is a good bet today in the 13:50 at Newmarket. Serious speed figure to win from impossible looking position on debut and I don’t think ever really got going next time, not enjoying the bend but still finishing second. I think will be perfectly suited by fastish ground on the Rowley Mile. Lots of 14/1 around and 16’s available with 365. A strong/max bet for me, I’m going win only but the race shape is ok for e/w, 1/5 first 3.

This is really short notice now (apologies for that) but why not after last week went well. I like Swiss Connection in the next at Newcastle, everything about conditions fine, trainer in form and I’m still convinced a high draw is good over 5 for horses who sit just behind the pace. Lots of 8/1 around.
Not a bad run in 4th. I didn’t know the wind had switched, so just off the pace from a high draw not an advantage. Looked to carry a bit of condition after a break, of interest again next time.

Back under 120kg for the first time in probably over a decade. Lost over 20kg since the first lockdown chaos and haven't been fitter cardio wise since my basketball days 20+ years ago. Maintaining muscle mass whilst losing fat is tough but i have been doing this slowly over the past 6 months. Target is 105kg by the summer whilst maintaining my current 81kg level of lean mass. Doing 5 intense cardio sessions a week now alongside 3 weights sessions.
Well done Arb, impressive stuff👏. As the others have said, it’s so rewarding getting and staying in good shape.

Thanks David, great to see you back here.
Thanks Tony, good to be back. Probably an infrequent visitor these days but things have been going well on the horse with all the extra study time I’ve had available and it seemed a good idea to share thoughts here occasionally.

Welcome back, Kush!!
Glad to hear you're fully mended, mate.
Thanks Marky. It’s actually the 2 year anniversary of my surgery and I hoped to be telling everyone how well I am but instead have a shocker of a cold, I’ll get PCR’d later but I’d be unlucky for it to be Covid given my vaccine situation. Hope you are doing well? I’m hoping to find us some good NFL bets between now and the end of the season.
