Just recently bought the cartamundi diamond 14g poker chip range & I'm yet to use them but on first impression I think these could be great value for money does anyone use these chips on a regular basis  can give me their opinion on them ?

I'm looking to improve my home game with a casino style poker clock but I can only see 2 that are very similar but they come at a price the  basic version is $39 & the pro version is $79 I don't really want to spend money on it !! Does  anyone know of some decent looking free software that actually looks the part & is good to use ??

Every now & again you get a one off decent tournament so I think there's potential for a purpose poker venue that holds these events. The local casinos pick up a lot of business from poker players & give little back in return. The punters would travel from around the central belt for a decent game if poker in such a venue !!

Doubt we will see such a venue but you never know !

I think DTD is a fantastic venue & would like to see a similar slightly smaller version in Scotland !! Is there a Market for such a club ? Would it get a licence?  Would it attract the players. Playing poker in the local casinos is all fine and dandy but there not really interested in poker they hope you'll come along play a little poker then spend the rest of the night gambling on the tables!

London also have smaller dedicated poker clubs I would like to see something along those lines in Glasgow / Edinburgh. Anyone else think there's a market for such a venue??

What kind of notice period do you give the guys before the seats go on sale for each event ??
