i'm assuming that only a gaming site would want to sponsor a poker show........................................but as i have said i have not seen any other gaming sponsorship on sky programming other then sky bet, but i don't watch sky all the time so i could be wrong.

Well i don't see any other gaming site sponsorship on sky's channels..........i might be wrong about that, just haven't seen any, i believe Ch425 was owned by Will Hill

I reckon the people who make this shite (can i say shite?) probably think big brother and all those other reality shows are great viewing!!

New on here so hi to everyone!
Not a big fan of forums (can bring out the worst in people) but I felt compelled to join so I could express my utter dismay at Sky Poker's 'The Club'!
They have completely misread what the poker community wants in a magazine show, news and reports on the UK scene with player profiles and the odd report from tourneys overseas. Not just a half hour promo for the channel and its comps! typical sky really (you only have to watch Sky Sports News............one long ad for whatever they are showing on their sport channels).
Poker week may not have been the greatest show on TV but it great for the UK pokerheads. Hope it comes back!
