There is just no way around it Im afraid, because we have no income we need to pay upfront. You have to put your selfs in their shoes, they have 4 "gamblers" moving into their property with no proven income, and once we are in if we dont pay its very difficult to remove us. They would be complete idiots not to take anything less than 6 months in advance

The original post said you had a spare room in a 4 bed house. Now it seems you're just three guys looking for somewhere to live.

Why not just get a 3-bed place?

Sorry for the confusion, we don't have a house already, we are looking for a fourth person to find a house with. As for us 3 moving in it might come to that but I think 4 creates a better dynamic so we will try and find a fourth person before looking for a 3 bedroom place. We also wouldn't rule out a 5 bedroom house if two guys wanted to join us.

Hi guys, Im Simon one of the guys who is living with Dan. We originally had 4 people total and had a house all signed for in Canary Wharf but unfortunately the Landlord pulled out and then a few days later one of the guys pulled out hence this post. We are looking for a place in either zone 1 or 2, we are not too bothered about being in central london and would prefer a place maybe 15-20 mins from the centre (on the tube) because you can get a much nicer place for the money than nearer the centre.

As for the internet we will have 2 internet connections on a load balancing router so we are never without the internet and if it disconnects on one it will swap over. Im pretty sure the general site rules regarding playing on the same IP address are you are allowed to play in the same MTT but not the same SNG or Cash game. Currently 2 of us (me and dan) play on Ladbrokes (me 2/4 and dan 5/10+) and the other guy (Chris) plays on Lucky Ace (Pacific Network 2/4). None of us are big tournament players but we do play the odd GUKPT and me and Dan are playing in the EPO.

Regarding having a problem with the landlord I don't see a way around this. None of us can prove our income so we have no choice but to pay 6 months in advance, thats one of the downsides of being a poker pro.

Any other questions please shout.

Shane is pretty good value too, dont think he has folded a hand in his life.

I end up calling, he shows AA and wins the pot.

My only concern is I have only invested $44 and now have to invest another $766+ , I know KK is a big hand but folding here I think reduces variane a tone and isnt that -ev.

Lesson learned, next time I might fold (and he probs will show QQ lol)

At every casino ive played this is concidered a minimum bet. If you put in multiple chips without saying a word then the bet is the value of the chips. If you put in 1 high denomination chip without saying anything then its a minimum bet.
