ok so hes not beautiful but does that matter in poker. Works for him Who wants that amusingly dressed man staring you down?

No, we were actually drunkenly discussing this last night, and decided that we love the fact that poker is a great leveller in that sense.

But come on, man, that Bahamas outfit, I mean, wow. Shocked

That's a gun show I did not need to see....a hairy, hairy gun show

Being Canadian I would like nothing better than two Canucks heads up with Chorny vs. Villemure.

Snoopy had never heard this expression before. He thought it was rhyming slang. Cheesy

Ahaha....so i guess he's not a Vancouver fan then?

For those of you watching the live feed, what is the action like? Are they seeing may Flops? Does the structure seem good?

The big stacks are dictating the play, with every pot being raised pre. A good number of flops are being seen.

Are the shortstacks mostly folding them, waiting for a big hand or an opportunity to push all-in. I only ask, because it's difficult to get an overall feel of that particular table when we have the two outer tables to keep an eye on too. Have any players on that table impressed you? I understand Stig received a bit of stick from Daniel Negreanu for his A-T hand.

Not very exciting to be honest. The small stacks are picking their spots... Antonio and Stig are butting heads every once in a while...with nobody the clear winner. Maxime is the only player to really use the re-raise...it's worked, and it's backfired with a re-raise all in.
Just listening really, nothing to peak interest.

EDIT: OF course as i write the above we lose a player pushing with 10-8..... i see dead people

I think that this is still Pierre Hall, even though he's now right the other side of the card room.  Such is the nature of table breaks.  He is making a weird face because in an effort to get him to look at the camera I started grinning like I was on drugs and this is the reaction.

If I'd photographed him about 5 minutes later, however, he may have been all (slightly apologetic) smiles.  He'd got his 120-150k all in pre with , called by .
Flop:  two hearts
Turn:
River........      ...........         ........

His railers go nuts, some high-fiving happens and he doubles through.  Slightly embarrassing celebration level, considering the circumstances...but he's now comfortably stacked.  And not American, which is what people in the room seem to think, but Canadian Wink

You mean you're not on drugs? Tsk tsk...
Keep em coming, loving it! And maybe if we had him apologize more people would remember he's Canadian...eh?

Heard through the Marc Karam grapevine that Pierre Hall has doubled?! Details if you've got em!
Ps. Pretty please

I know about this because an almighty roar went up from what I thought would be a coachload of railers on the, er, rail by Hall's table.  In fact, it turned out to be about three of them, but they were super excited.  One was doing some kind of dance, shouting something about shipping it and waving a beer bottle around.  Hall on 180k now - that number definitely signifies a double through.

Just heard  Myst  has been offered a spot at a rich norwegian 50/100 cash game..so no more updates from him and relying entirely on you! The pressure is on....

A picture of Pierre Hall would be greatly appreciated Smiley.......

Is he normally this focused and alert?

He's Canadian...i'm surprised it's not beer in front of him instead of water.

HELP! We've got Marc "Myst" Karam on the floor trying to find a fellow Canadian in the Monte Carlo Haystack...any updated table info for Pierre Hall?
Or, if you see Myst floating around looking like a lost puppy, point him in the right direction!

Pierre's original table has broken up, so we'd need a photographe of said player to assist Marc in his search.

Sorry for the al qaeda-esque pic. But this is the best i could find. He may also be wearing a hoodie with mystpoker.com written on the sleeve and jack seven dot ca on the back. Any help would be great!

No dice on the hoodie...the pic is all we've got...HELP!?!
