Seeing as they've made it all the way to the final 19, the players in the Main Event are being given an extra long dinner break -- 1hr 15mins no less!  This is both good and bad.  Good because they will be able to go out, get some air, enjoy some local cuisine and refresh themselves.  Bad, because we can't afford to eat anything in the area and we are therefore going to photoshop lots of stuff and play arcade games.

If you look in ept monte carlo thread on 2+2 there are some pointers to cheaper places nearby the hotel that sell good food.

Edit: Found it

"Jeff,
If you go up the hill from the hotel, then a few blocks off the
main square down a small alley is an EXCELLENT sandwich shop
with good fresh food and fresh fruits. And cheap too. Its where all
the local office workers go for their takeout lunch.

You can eat extremely well in Monte Carlo. Just not at the
MC Bay Hotel

Good Luck all."

Øyvind Riisem is down to 350k without even seeing a flop. He had 700k not to long ago.

He threw away his hand after Esfandiari 5-bet him.

Sorry Canada, Pierre's OUT. According to my secret lover source, Isabelle Mericer, he called all-in with A-K against Robin Keston's 7-7. Pierre hit an Ace on the Turn, shame about the 7 on the Flop.

Please divert his attention to this thread so we can once and for all Name That Stain.

I _think_ I responded to your pm snoopy, but I'm a newb on this forum, so I'm not sure I did it right. Let me know if I should try again;)

Borge Dypvik finishes in 47th place - but the hand which finally busted him - vs. - wasn't the big one, I am sure.  A miss all round and the young Norwegian calmly shook the collective hand of the table and made an exit so unassuming you would hardly believe he'd missed out on €2 mil but taken down €33,700 for his three days' work.

The "big hand" was all in on Q high flop, Børge with AQ, other guy KK. Turn and river blank. 500k pot.

Heard Lodden lost a monster pot to an American. Wich American? He now has under 300k

And congrats to Trond Eidsvig that now shares the record for most cashes in one EPT season with Johnny Lodden!

Sorry, that is a little wrong.  He shared it, until today, when he made it 5 cashes this year. Loddens old record was 4.  Eidsvig also holds the record for most final tables in one seson with 3.    Also he won the Master Classics but that does not count in this setting.

Lol, thats what I tought was the case, but the betsson updates said otherwise so I figured I was wrong;)
