ipoker do not want their cash rooms full of rakeback grinders and professionals.

Which makes sense when you look at the big picture. Ie new, amateur players are the lifeblood of the network, if they stumble across a 6 max cash game with 5 professional sharks, they are going broke, usually very quickly, in a maximum of 4 weeks, possibly never to return to the game, which is devastating for the long term growth of the network

on the other side of the coin, you have smaller sites, strugglng to make ends meet, paying under the counter rakeback deals in excess of 50% with the sole reason of attracting the same players that ipoker does not want, the high volume pros

the result being an unavoidable collision beween site owners and struggling smaller ipoker skins

unfortunately i cant see any compromise, the industry is not growing anymore, ipoker is continuing to clamp down on what they perceive to be the the parasites of game, and smaller skins have no other viable routes to make a living

ipoker wants the smaller sites out, they have the legals all tied up, it looks like game over im afraid

Pab gets a few back, raising to 60k pre, getting a call, betting the flop (80k) with Jeff beating him in the pot.  They both check the turn, but when Jeff checks to Pab the final time on the two spades river, Pab puts in 300k.  After a long consider, Jeff makes the call with a Queen, but Pab's wins the pot.

totally sick value bet. cmon pabster

the real comedy is the lack of convincing content in this thread that opposes the general view on 2p2~(mine included) that the general standard of poker in the uk is down right appalling.

also most the folk commenting in that thread are uk players also

Though as i have said before the standard of UK poker is not something to be particularly proud of and there is some truth in that thread. Not that we should be particularly sad about this as the "value" when going to play live is massive.

i started this thread on 2p2 because i play msnl online cash poker for a living, and dont see hardly any brits doing the same. maybe there are, and maybe they disguise where they are from or keep a low profile as we brits do. myself included.

but there just are not many msnl and hsnl regs on the main sites from what i have seen. the ones i do bump into seem pretty bad with only a couple exceptions
