1  Community Forums / The Lounge / Re: Anyone experienced in integrating a new (ill) cat into a house full of animals? on: July 27, 2011, 01:36:37 AM

What about asking for advice on a cat specific forum or general pet forum. I would think that would be the best way to get the best advice. Also, the rescue should be able to offer sound advice in these type situations, as they must come across such situations on a reg basis.

Other than that, I would focus on introducing the cat & the dog first, as it sounds as if that should be easy enough. Which in turn may make other intros easier, as the other animals will sense / know the dog is accepting of the cat.

Wishing you the very best of luck & hat off to you for doing this Smiley

It isn't really unlimited internet, it's unlimited wi-fi!

4  Community Forums / The Lounge / Re: Great offer for mobile sim only on: December 23, 2010, 07:02:15 PM

Does the unlimited internet include use of net with Iphone?

May sound like a stupid question but I know someone who got an iphone 4 with a contract from Tesco which included free internet but not for the iPhone!

Very possible

I would say impossible.

Stars simply wouldn't make that mistake.

They will have done their due due diligence & will be sure to have signed the real Isildur 100% imo.

Pre puppy purchase - the best piece of advice I would give would be to make sure you do not buy from a puppy farm, sadly so many people do & line the pockets of the scum that run them without a care for the puppies.

Rescuing a dog is also an option that so many people don't consider, yet so many wonderful dogs are to be found in rescue centres.

Hi guys,

I am John Tabatabai, the CEO of bidibot.com. As you have correctly stated, we are the worlds first penny auction site catering for the online gaming industry. We offer a wide variety of credits on specific sites and in the near future will be offering much greater prizes on a daily basis.

Penny auctions are auction sites where you pay every time you place a bid, unlike ebay where you only pay if you win the item. On Bidibot, every time a bid is placed, you are debited 1 bid from your account, 30 seconds is added to the clock to allow other users to place a bid if they are interested in the product and your name is updated on the higher bidder area of the box. When the clock hits 0, the last person who placed a bid wins. To claim your prize you must pay the final selling price, i.e. $1.18.

All new customers receive $10 worth of free bids to try the site. Beyond that, you can purchase bids varying from $10 up to $1,000. Bids cost a maximum of $1 each, in most standardised scenarios they cost around 75c.

I have had to reiterate this point several times on other forums, so will make it clear here too, we do not use any house bidders, shills, bots or reserves. That is why you see so many auctions ending for simply 1 bid. Every now and again, some auctions go mad! Currently the majority of the auctions run at huge losses for us as we are such a new company. We are hoping these great deals create some buzz and hype around our unique business model. This weekend, Mark 'marky147' Herron played the GUKPT main event in Blackpool, £1070 event and won his seat on Bidibot for $3.18. He personally only spent around $50 I believe. He can attest to this himself. There are certainly bargains to be had on Bidibot, whilst there are clear times users should be aware when there is fierce ego wars or competition over certain products.

Prizes are usually credited to the winners account within 24 hours, apart from the weekends where it is usually credited within 48 hours.

If hope this goes some way to answers your questions. Please let me know if there is anything else I can answer.

John Tabatabai

Good luck to you with this venture!

It's an interesting buisness model.

My thoughts were that whoever is running the site must be making a profit and if they are then someone is out of pocket.

Can you explain further what you mean?

Not sure what you are meaning or how this is meant to come across

I haz this.

http://www.dabs.com/products/lg-electronics-m227wd-22--dvi-full-hd-lcd-63W6.html

22", works brilliantly as a monitor and HD TV.

Looks good but my preference was for a LED tv.

Anyone else any suggestions?
14  Community Forums / The Lounge / Monitor & TV on: November 07, 2010, 11:29:46 AM

Looking for some advice:

I was looking to buy a new monitor to go with my laptop but I have since decided I would like to buy a new tv which I can also use as a monitor.

I reached this decision after being told the majority of lcd & led tv's available to buy new can do just as good a job as a monitor - is that the case?

Ideally I would like to have a LED tv with a screen size no smaller than 22". Budget £250 (would go higher if required)

Model suggestions please?

My tech knowledge is very limited, so any advice on what to look out for spec wise would be welcome!

Thanks in advance
