Has to be a serious contender for player of the year.To take down 3 major titles (WSOP $10K PLO, World Open + Poker million) in 8 months is a spectacular feat
Unfortunatley most player of the year points go to large field open events, so his world open and poker million wins wont get that many points.
FYI, Marc Goodwin is currently number one in the pokerineurope rankings, not bad for only playing the GUKPTs.
Isn't it also related to the buy-in. The poker million was still a large buy-in event after all. And how many people played 70 or so. The PLO is obviously the big one, huge field with a 10k buy-in.
