Hi Jude,

you mentioned earlier that you played quite tight early on in online tourneys, I imagine some of your starting hands would be dependant on position (or would you disregard any holding). What range of hands would you be raising/calling with in early on in a tourney?

cheers for doing this

in the early stages  i would raise from any position with a 10 or better, kj, kq or any pocket pair.
my range for calling would be any pocket pair aq or better. sometimes with ajs or kqs when in position

you hit 2 of them the 3rd would be my shortstack game
what makes me uncomfortable would be good players having position on me and using it well

i think the million and warm up are definitely worth playing if your bankroll permits it. if you are struggling or trying to build a bankroll i would recommend  playing the smaller field tournaments

the biggest buzz i every got from winning was the ipc 2008. this was my 1st major tournament win and it was done in my home town in front of all my friends and family.

i rarely use the chat box,  most of the time i don't see whats printed, when i do i frequently have too many tables up to be able to reply

i have been playing just over 5 years did nt play much at the start until i discovered online games.
when i play online i play multiple tourneys on multiple sites which means alot of tables at the start so i generally play fairly tight to begin with, then loosen up the deeper i get.
i dont play too much live poker, when i do i probably play a few more hands than i usually would at the start. more importantly i try to watch every hand played at the table and gather as much information about each player to help me make a decision when i get involved in a hand against them. this is generally not possible when i multi table
