Oh well I was way off the mark this year! Bit disappointing that the only vaguely original ideas (Pamela/Lottie) got shut down. After Sugar's nightmare with Alana's bakery and the big success he had with Ricky Martin's recruitment, I presume he'll just go with Scarlett.

Pamela/Lewis to get heads up

Predictions:
Next 3 firings: Dean, Marianne, Scarlett
Winner: Pamela as long as her biz plan isn't a huge heap

In fairness, cameras weren't really around 150 years after the big bang

It doesn't take a lot at all for Alpro et al to copy her flavours and better her marketing if it's successful. Designs for swimwear are a lot harder to copy

edit: also sad I didn't get my £50 gift from Dave this year - Edinburgh must be on your no fly list by now son!

GEICO make money off the premiums too though Smiley Their actuaries are good at setting the odds right. In fact he says that's one of the most important things about owning an insurance company - don't rely on the float. Some insurers even run the premiums at a loss just to get the float.

Insurance is arguably one of the more efficient markets - a lot of companies struggle and survive off the float only. Not many make a good profit off premiums.

cos theta = adj/hypotenuse

=> hypotenuse * sin theta = height
=> 5ft * sin 25(pi/180) = height
=> height = 2.11308989034ft

No one actually uses their bananas on something useful, duh

If you go to a fruit and veg market and buy some bananas, you now have bananas and the seller has your money. You then sell your bananas through some private Skype chat after the great banana mining rush of 2018 for 100x what you bought them.
