i had somehow clicked on something with Bt to stop spam. trouble is i recently realsied that it was intercepting genuine emails as well. I found I had 796 unread emails and that was for one month and no idea how many in the past had been deleted.
Amazed at the number of them from banks I have never dealt with asking me to confirm my details. i guess for every ten thousand they email there is one  fish that will enter their details.

I do the domain name thing. Register a domain name for a couple of quid then you can set all emails sent to anythinghere@thedomainname.com to be forwarded to another address. Then when you sign up somewhere you can use different email addresses to identify where the emails are coming from ie, ebay@thedomainname.com, paypal@thedomainname.com, itwasmymatethatsignedmeuptotheswingersitehonest@thedomainname.com.

You could always get a proper email address and domain name.

I bought www.wildaboutpoker.co.uk and use richie@xxxxxxxxxxxx (amended by tikay)

I used letsgetpersonal.co.uk and they have been very good. I get no spam what so ever.

Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo etc are notoriously bad for spam.

Richie, you really ought to delete your e-Mail addy from this thread. Iron is right - you will be deluged by spammy e-mails if you leave it here.
