o/t Recommend a decent wireless router for me.

Could you guys recommend me a good adsl wireless router?
The one I use just now cuts me off briefly every couple of hours or so, so no good for playing poker as cuttiing out mid session sends me on hyper tilt !!!
I bought a £20 antena for my wireless card on the PC but makes no diff.
That's why i ended up using a cat5 cable instead. But now i'm moving flat and will have the PC in another room which doesn't have a phone port.
So I guess it's just a crap router I have, (it's a Belkin F5D7632-4, so you might want to avoid that one).
Any suggestions for a good router or any tips to get as stable a wireless connection as possible?

if it's not the router then maybe the pci card in my PC but i thought that was the unlikeliest thing after the antena and router.

looking at the customer reviews on amazon, for each product there is a list of people giving each router 5 stars saying that they've never had a problem then for the same ones others giving it 1 star saying connection drops etc.
consumer nightmare.

i can only go on personal experience. and from unplugging the 3com officeconnect one, to plugging in the BTHH I had gained about 2meg in speed.
And it has never fallen over since i got it.

I've had so many issues with my wireless router (a Buffalo one, and my Internet connection is via ntl), that I gave up trying to get it to work and got a homeplug thingy instead (the wireless router was interfering with my video sender - although not linking up with my PC
).
Some 3 months later (this evening), I get home, switch on my laptop and 'bingo' - the wireless connection is miraculously working! I didn't do a thing. It's been working perfectly all night now...
Bloody computers!!
(sorry my story doesn't help at all, but just shows that wireless is the invention of Loki)

"mate" singular not plural!! I wouldn't claim to have more than one friend, it discredits the believability of the story!!
Give these guys a try, I've had a browse through their site for you and they do a free check up for over 65s but they do go on to say: "anyone over the age of 90 shouldn't be reading, instead just stay indoors and stop bothering the outside world", but you can pass for 83-84 no probs!!
