Morning Peeps

Seems like ages since I posted.

The amount of baby stuff we have been bought, and bought ourselves has literally taken over the house. I have a desktop computer which in all fairness takes up alot of room.

Following on from the Camel's thread, does anyone know of any very very cheap laptops. I would only use it for Betfair, Poker and a tiny bit of web surfing.

I really don't wanna spend much as I would prefer to spend it on the baby, but the betfair side of my life is paying better than my job at the mo so need to stay linked to the internet.

Cheers guys

Dell do perfectly decent laptops for £400, but if you only want it for poker and the web it might be worth going second hand. Have a look round eBay - any laptop which is not older than a few years should be fine for your needs.

Personally i'd say to stay away from Ebay. With new ones available from 400-500 quid, there really is no need to buy second hand.

have a look on ebuyer.com or dabs.com or somethign similar.  You can search for laptops by price, then check all the customer reviews - only get one with 4/5* and at least 10 reviews - that's usually the best way to pick these things up... something like this looks OK.... http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/106923

cheers guys

To be honest I don't really wanna be paying £500 for a laptop. Are laptops available for less or is £400/£500 the average

You get what you pay for Smithy, any cheaper and its a false economy.

If you dont spend this much, then you will usually find the keyboard collapses within a year and things like this etc.

There are cheaper for sure, but i wouldnt recommend them.
