hi there!
Which is the best way to take money with me in order to play to the world series in Vegas? For the main event i think i'll send the money with the pre-registration to Harras Rio Hotel but for the other event i don't know how to do.....i would like to carry with me about 15000-20000 dollars but i know that i can't enter US with more then 10000 dollars.
What is your suggest??

Thank You!!!

take travellers cheques and dont declare it.

do they take them off you?  plead innocent and say you're there for the WSOP.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Only to about 7 or 8 of the events, you cant pick and choose - and they are spread right out over the 2 months Sad

Event No:2 NL Hold'em $1500 6/27/06 6/07/06
              3 PL Hold'em $1500 6/28/06 6/08/06
              5 NL Hold'em (6-max) $2500 6/30/06 6/12/06
              6 NL Hold'em $2000 7/1/06 6/12/06
              14 NL Hold'em (rebuys) $1000 7/8/06 6/19/06
              17 NL Hold'em $1000 7/10/06 6/24/06
              27 NL Hold'em $1500 7/18/06 6/28/06
              29 PL Hold'em $2500 7/19/06 6/29/06
              31 NL Hold'em $2000 7/21/06 7/03/06

The first date is the date of the event, the second date is the last date you can register for the tourney via pokerstars. If you do choose this route then you can buy in direct provided you are a silverstar member or better using W$ and these W$ are usually available for purchase on several sites cheaper. Therefore you can actually buy in to a $2000 event for about $1850 or $1900 if you shop around.
