I was really pleased for France.  It is ironic that France were the popular team tonight. Normally this isn't the case. 

Ronaldo sure is a hated player right now. Did you hear the shouts from the fans when he got the ball? 

Will the negative image Ronaldo has gained during these championships have a negative effect on his image?  I know after Schumacher ran into Villeneauve in 97, he lost money through potential sponsorship opportunities not being realised.   How long will it take for his reputation to recover?

It must be the name.
I remember when Schumacher ran in to Patrick Battiston in the 1982 WC semi.
He was a right chancer too.
