Interesting bit at the end -
"The 2005 Gambling Act - due to come into force in September 2007 - will include a new definition of "non-commercial gaming", including limits on stakes and prizes."

Light at the end of the tunnel for Poker in Pubs n clubs from sept 07??? it would be nice to know the details

Reading Rob's recent experiences on the DTD thread just goes to show what a farce this all is.  On one hand they're saying don't play unlicensed games as its not safe, on the other Rob is being stretched to breaking point trying to get a 'pukka' license for his club.

If they don't want people playing unlicensed games, why create such a ridiculous barrier for those trying to become licensed?
