Joe Beevers contacted me, & it transpired that this Thread was rather more sinister that it may have appeared at first. We gave "benefit of the doubt" initially that it may just have been banter, but it appears that this was not the case.

A similar campaign had been waged on The Hendon Mob Forum, by the same team. Multiple bogus accounts were created in the names of Ram Vaswani & Barny, followed by "mischievous" Posts.

We do not allow flaming on blonde.

I'm not sure 'sinister' is a word that I would use here and I certainly don't mind people taking the piss. Mob Forum moderators had to delete posts yesterday and today that were mostly made by the same IP address and we believe were posted by Tom Rutter (Numpty Dumpty) . An account was opened in the name of BarnyBoatman and several posts were signed off Ram V. He also replied to his own posts using multiple accounts. For these reasons all posts were deleted and some accounts may be barred.

I don't think it was sinister just someone having a bit of a laugh but we obviously can't have people impersonating us or anyone else or spoiling the forum for it's users and we have forum rules for a reason.
