its Wednesday night and i trot up to bed at just after 11 me and Betty have had a great night on the sofa. next morning rolls round get up just after 8 my girlfriend goes downstairs for her top to see something not quite right the curtain its blowing in the wind.

after a quick shout up stars am running down them, the window in the dining room its broken who would do such a thing and when, we have been here all night surely one of us would have heard something its double glazing for god sake.I stroll into the livingroom with anger running through my blood and my head spinning something not right where is Betty (at this point i should say Betty is my laptop i got as a birthday present last month from my girlfriend) its missing someones been in during the night stole my laptop, found the front door keys and let him/herself out and we never heard a thing someone has been in our house during the night and help themself to my stuff so now I've got a big *%$! off knife beside me and a nice hole in the garden and hope they come back.

to everyone out there make sure you lock up safe and do all you can to keep our house and stuff safe because am sure am not the only one to think it won't happen to me.

I feel bad for whats happened to you Lynx but I also want to thank you for reminding me of something on my "to do" list.

I too have double glazing and a pretty secure front door but my back door has a VERY thin plyboard bottom half which is very easily kicked in.

I shall make a point of phoning around for a quote for a new door tomorrow.

Sorry to hear of the violation of your home :-(
