We have just finished out first calender month since Dave decided to take a step back from his blondepoker role, so that he could concentrate on his day job - winning Poker Tourneys. And, we hope, he can pick up the Sponsorship deal he so richly deserves as, arguably, Europe's finest Tournament player. While running blonde (which has it's own Online Cardroom) that was never going to be possible.

I have been quite overwhelmed by the amount of goodwill shown towards blonde & myself during this transitional period. It was never my intention or wish to end up running a business again - that's why I retired! - but needs must & all that. The support shown to blonde of late has been nothing short of remarkable.

This support, really, is because blonde is very much a community of like-minded people.

When we change things - even tiny details - we are immediately asked why?/when?/what? etc - and I see this as a good thing. It says to me that you all have "ownership" in blonde.

So, with that ownership in mind, I thought I'd try & Update you all on how things are behind the scenes in blonde.

I shall do a brief(ish) Post on each of these areas - "Cardroom", "Main Site", "Forum" & "Company".

Please feel free to ask any questions.

How old are you really?

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

What is the meaning of life?
Logged

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life.
Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft?
Of course not.
