I love FT, in the mornings i can catch some of the pros playing $1 stt, or 0.10/0.25 cash tables.
So I played with matusow/ivey/ greg something and today i had a pleasure of playing with Perry Friedman.

Prior to this hand, perry told off player x  for betting into side pot of 60 (when another player was all in) and told him that he hopes the player x has nuts.  When the cards were uncovered the all in guy had nuts, and the donkey player had pair of 4 on the board Q4Kxx

Below is the hand in which Perry lost a bit, and decided to give few tips to another player for terrible play.  Needless to say the other guy went on the rampage and was going all in every hand.
Dealer: Hand #1179135804

Dealer: Gen-Ace-X posts the small blind of 120

Dealer: ski2005 posts the big blind of 240

Dealer: You have been dealt [ ]

Dealer: Can I bluff folds

Dealer: taurajoao raises to 720

Dealer: Perry Friedman calls 720

Dealer: Gen-Ace-X folds

Dealer: ski2005 raises to 1,975, and is all in

Dealer: taurajoao has 15 seconds left to act

Dealer: taurajoao raises to 2,870, and is all in

Dealer: Perry Friedman calls 2,150

Dealer: taurajoao shows [As ]

Dealer: Perry Friedman shows [ ]

Dealer: ski2005 shows [ ]

Perry Friedman: AJ?

Dealer: The flop is [Ah three clubs]

Dealer: The turn is [two hearts]

Dealer: The river is []

Perry Friedman: AJ???

Dealer: taurajoao shows a pair of Aces

Perry Friedman: wow

Dealer: Perry Friedman shows a pair of Tens

Dealer: taurajoao wins the side pot (1,790) with a pair of Aces

Dealer: ski2005 shows a pair of Queens

Dealer: taurajoao wins the main pot (6,045) with a pair of Aces

Dealer: ski2005 stands up

Perry Friedman: that couldn't possibly be the best hand

Perry Friedman: and could have been against a pair AND a

better A

Perry Friedman: Wow

Perry Friedman: that was not a good play at all

Perry Friedman: Also, you are better off just calling there anyhow

and with the player all in

Perry Friedman: What did you hope each of us turned over,

taura?

Now do you think Perry was comitted here to call with his TT?

I would love the see the entire HH for this one..chip stacks of the table and all that...also how ski has been playing..whether he has been fairly rocklike and all that stuff.

I agree with Matt, unless asked or it's intended that he shares his pearls of wisdom he is just being a prat..

Ski was a rock, tight waiting for a hand,

Sry for the fragmented hand but this is what i managed to rescue....

Though at the same time if this is a $1 stt then it could well be that some of the players taking part may well be newbies to the game and to them going all in with AJ is a good move. Sometimes i've played in low buy in MTT's and i've tried to make a move described in my first post - trying to force a player to lay down a hand to get myself heads up against a short stack but the player calls my all in bet with something along the lines of Q6 just because it was suited.

Its at this point that i have to keep reminding myself that i'm playing in a tournament where some players may not necessarily reckognize what message i'm trying to get across and that just sticking to ABC poker and not bothering to bamboozle them with fancy moves is probably going to work better.

It sounds as though Perry is expecting all of his opponents to be playing at a level similar to the one he is used to playing at and like Boldie says is not looking like a supposed "professional" at all.

yeah and instead of being nice about it and explaining why it is not the best move in the world ..he just said "That's not good play at all" any muppet in low stakes games says those things..it's the higher stakes where you get less of that sort of stuff. I expect better from a "pro"
