Thanks very much for some very useful advice. Theres no need for you to apologise. To be honest after I asked, I thought that you were probably trying to
contextualise
your advice so once again many thanks

I think you need to do something else whilst playing to keep you entertained. When it comes to poker, combining buzz and discipline isn't easy, so perhaps you need to either play more tables or read a mag inbetween hands or something. Whatever suits you best.

totally disagree
the entertainment is there for u ......try reading the table...read the players...try n work out their next moves....how do they play ? loose or tight? passive or agressive? change your moves...dont be predictable
all that should keep you occupied
put on some music quietly in background too to sooth you during bad beats

I don't like to study the table, I'd rather open another one up. All about preferences, but the important thing is the first line of my advice... "I think you need to do something else whilst playing to keep you entertained".

I have started playing with my back turned to the telly, with surprising results, i have got more consistency to my game ( online ), the noise from the telly drifts in and out between folds and beats, it has helped me, Give it a go, it sounds daft but it might work for you.

There's a recent article on the main site about this I think, but I can't find it.
Can someone link me?
