Do blondes have more fun?

I appeared on the blonde doorstep, all miserable & bedraggled,  because I've been having a terrible run on VC. I spent 3 months building my meagre bankroll to what is , for me, an acceptable level, only to lose the lot in terminal 3 week run.

So I've been a blonde for just about a week now.  My 'roll is now back to what it was after 3 months on VC.

Is this the ugly face of variance ? Or is it more power to the blonde ?
