Sweeping generalisation alert: hopefully one day scientists will figure out why women can wrap presents so much better than men. Grin

I always remember my Mum wrapping presents making them look like a work of art; literally just the right amount of paper to cover the item (no more and no less), sellotape hidden underneath bows, and wrapped with ribbon. And a little card attached to the ribbon saying who the gift was for and who it was from. Must have taken her hours...

That's the secret right there, it's all in the amount of paper you use. Too much and it gets all bulky and difficult to fold neatly on the ends but too little and it gets fiddly. Make sure when you are making the folds on the ends that you create proper sharp folds and it will stay in place and look better.

I've never understood how some people can't wrap, I use to do all our family's presents (except my own of course) from about 10 yrs old. Mum hated wrapping and she use to bribe me into doing it, so with 5 sisters and brothers I've had a lot of practice!

I always buy small presents so I don't have to do much fecking wrapping.

In fact, everyone's getting book tokens this year!

Gosh, you are quick Snoopy! lol As it happens I knew what I was getting anyway so it didn't really matter. I'll still act all surprised on Christmas morning though. Wink

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life.
Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft?
Of course not.
