I have been forced to use the Libraries internet connection to check my emails for the last week or so. My BT line caught an illness and the geezer at the end of my garden refused access from his land to fix the cable box. BT eventually persuaded the guy to let them park some equipment on his land to allow them to reach the cables. His garden isn't even a nice garden, it is just a bit of grass and a washing line. Idiot.
Anyway, while at the library, I tried to log onto Blonde and I got a message pop up on the screen which told me that I wasn't allowed to access such a site. I called over the elderly librarian and explained it was ok and the site was just a forum. She was still unsure about overriding the security control and went to ask one of her colleagues. About five minutes later a girl about my age came over with the elderly librarian and asked what the problem was, I explained that I would like access the Blonde poker forum. She asked me what sort of content was on the site, I tried to explain that it was a perfectly respectable and entertaining information site relating to various topics including poker, but she still didn't believe me. I think she was under the impression that because of the word "Blonde", it must be some sort of porn site. I tried to show her tikay's profile on wikipedia and I explained to her that Tikay was a gentlemen and that he wouldn't run a dodgy site, but as soon as one of the onlookers at the counter mentioned "Tikay's off the televison and he performs on a late night show" , I lost any remote chance I had of looking on the Blonde site from the Library
. My elderly Librarian and her assistant probably view me as some perv who watches dodgy late night TV now . The assistant was actually very attractive which made it even worse
