Anyone know why UGC/cineworld have taken Black Book off their showings? And the odeon for that matter!

I'd imagine it's because it's out on DVD at the end of May. There's a bit of a kerfuffle between the cinemas and the studios over the release dates of films on DVD. It used to be that a film wouldn't be out on DVD till at least 6 months after it was shown in cinemas - now that gap has come down the cinemas say it's hurting their revenues as many people who wouldn't be prepared to wait 6 months to watch a film on DVD are happy to wait 3 months and pay £10-£15 to own it forever, than go to the cinema and pay £10-£15 to sit next to someone talking and eating popcorn.

Or even worse M&M's and crisps...whoever thought of selling that in cinemas should be shot as he obviously wasn't a movie lover.
