It's not the river you played badly.....

explain

where to start.

Hand 1;
Pre-flop I would raise to 120 atleast but fair enough you get one caller.

Checking the flop? That's asking for trouble. You should have bet the flop every single time, you only have 1 pair and you do want to know if he's hit the flop or not. This is a typical thing I see people do when they overplay their Aces. You could already be behind to two pair here and still not know it and probably still pay him off on the river by the looks of things.

The turn, a half pot bet. That's just wrong. He's going to call that with any two cards and you still don't know where you are. What were you hoping to do with this bet?

On the river..well one of those "you made your bed situations" I guess. You now have got a full house but have no idea whether he's likely to have the 8 or the King (or pocket kings). you can't fold here because you have the 3rd nuts and you have no idea what holding he has.

Hand 2.

No raise pre-flop when holding queens? you let the rags in.

A half pot bet on the flop. why not a full sized pot bet?

On the turn and river you're just unlucky (though I don't get the min raise but then again I suck at cash games)
