In the words of a great explorer 'I may be some time'.

Having run out of milk and without much in I've decided to brave the great outdoors. It's a mile or so to the nearest garage, and it's just lanes between here and there but if I don't go now it will be getting dark and I might get lost!

I did think about using my bike but have realised that would be very stupid - although I did seriously consider it for some time - the falling over issue hadn't crossed my mind until it was pointed out  >:?

Also discovered that my gloves are at work, as is my long winter coat - so it's an old C&A skiing jacket and suede heeled boots. Very suitable!

Anyway - in an obvious attempt to delay getting cold I am posting here but I am going now......ok now.....
