Is it a load of old rubbish or does it actually help ??

I've got them both.
They won't tranform your game or anything but they have some helpful ideas in them. Anything that helps you to think about your game can only be a good thing in my opinion. As long as you approach a book critically there can be no such thing as a bad poker book.
Having said that these are not great poker books and if your poker book time or budget is restricted then there are probably more useful books out there.

Harmony's son gave me a copy of "Tournament Poker & The Art of War" for Christmas, and i found it a most interesting read having read the "The Art of War" previously.
It is full of tips and ideas designed to get you thinking in a strategic manner when you are playing MTT's.
