I spoke to rudders after the event, and he said tikay was a luckbox played really well and had just busted in 3rd

just for the record..... and the whistling railbirder aka sofa  it was a cracking tourny although babs ( eventual 2nd place i believe) did have the final table tilting big time. I used the colchester kev "limp fold to the money" technique and can only say that i was mildly dissapointed that "the godfather of poker" ( according to the doc) managed to get his kk to hold up when his call of an allin (with AT) was called by barbaras K7 sooooooted because this would have had me in 3rd.

How about this for a remarkable play?

5 left, ave chips 80,000, 4 of us each have about 35,000, though rudders was running on vapour, & Barbara has maybe 160,000.

Geezer moves all-in UTG with  , I cover him by 500 chips & bravely call with    (dare not risk the RR, someone may wake up with a hand behind me).

Barbara - a really nice lady - dwells for 3 or 4 minutes, then sets me in for the extra 500. Damn. Ah well, I think, let's gamble, the pot is 105,000, I'm getting 210-1, & I call the 500. She shows......

And folks STILL call me a luckbox, ffs........
