Just a quicky. . .

Big Stag Cup tomorrow for some home game madness (not me getting married).
Structure Advice please.
Only seated 10 before 15 min tomorrow, hoping to allow lots of play.  We generally play 2000 chips 25/50 half hour clock all levels capped at 800/1600.  Have room for two tables but what clock/chips do you suggest for maybe 5/6 hous to winning post.  Was thinking two tables no balancing (to many arguments I foresee), both play down to five, final table.  3000 chips (no rebuys) 25/50 45 minutes first two tables then 30 minutes levels capped at 800/1600.  Clock stops if one table breaks.  Sound reasonable? Am I missing anything?

Thanks

Balance the tables, throw the ones who argue out

Would love too Red and any normal week I would believe me.
However this is My Best Mates Stag so going to be a bit crazy best to avoid the situation if possible.
But is there a simple formula to balancing?  Equal chips on each table?  Who moves?  Cant say I ever paid enough attention and just go where I told when its me.

Could just move the big blind and stick him nearest to the big blind on the other table.

Whoever has just posted the Bigblind is moved into the button position on the other table . There are websites that give suggestions of levels and blinds, some even provide a free clock. Not gonna spam so just type poker clocks into google

The way they do it here is try and move the person to the same postion on another table, IE table 1 has 8 players table 2 has 6 , if there is an open seat on table 2 behind the dealer, move the guy from table 1 who is behind the dealer, or likewise move a player who is going to be in the blind next to the other table if there is a seat open that put's him in the same blind next hand

Just remermber the two golden rules of table balancing. You MUST nominate the seat to which the moved player must go, & it MUST be fair. So moving the Low Stack, or  letting anyone choose where to sit, is a complete no-no.
