no, if he pushed all in after your check it's a massive overbet. I call those when I have trips.

I aggree its usually an insta call, but the raise on the turn had me thinking "something aint right in Denmark".

there is a high possibility he has a house here.
this call all depends on if you think he's clever enough to have picked up the fact you've played it super weak the whole way through and sees you as bluffable.

I cant understand his betting at all.

He raises pre, checks flop, but value raises turn.  This is normally 99.  Although I suppose a badly played overpair or Ahxh are possible.

I really don't know what to make of the river bet and would have to call at this level although if I had any inkling that the player was competent I would fold.

Why didn't you bet the flop?  it is perfect flop for you to see where you are.  Your bet on the turn is weaky teaky, and his re-raise probably means you are behind here.  i would say either 2 pair or full house.

Fold or re-raise pre-flop personally.

Do you have any pokertracker stats on the guy? The way he's played it i'm sure your behind.. but it is a tough fold.

agreed

also What's the point in playing A2 if you are going to fold when you hit your miracle trips?
