I'm in the middle of a bad run.  Tourneys not going well, a series of bad cash sessions, horrible cold decks when my 66 flops a set from the small blind, only to be out-flopped by the big blind who's hit set of queens.

Now I know this is all part of the game, and I can accept that.

So after the set v over-set on Stars, I load up Blonde for a cash game.  The cards come thick and fast, and from the off I'm hitting everything.  Then with I raise it up and get one caller.

Flop is  - so I guess I'm either ahead or I have approximately a million outs.  The other fella checks, and I bet.  He re-raises me...and I call.

Turn is the lovely - so now I reckon we've both got the A-high straight.  Of course, I've also got the flush draw and one card for the Royal Flush.  I'm not going to get any action if a heart comes on the river - and I have the player covered, so I stick my chips in - and he calls instantly - with  and the arse-end of a flopped straight.  With my recent luck, I'm expecting another king to fall to split the pot.  But it's not a king, it's the  - and I've got my 4th ever Royal Flush, and I got paid for it.

BUT, I'm still down today, so it's like the poker gods are teasing me and Loki is running things at the moment and he's having a laugh at my misfortune.  It's a bloody annoying game at times!
