am I reading this correctly as saying that you have to pay your way into them first and then get the buyins refunded?

I played last nights too (as I work wed and fri days).
I have emailed them and hopefully it will be okay.

Yep Boldie, it's been like this for a few weeks now.   They are pretty good at giving it back though, not had a problem with that bit yet.

hmm strange way to do it as essentially they are taking 400$ out of people's bankroll for a week which means they can't play with that and that Mansion therefore must be missing out on rake.

Perhaps too many people were withdrawing the money when they they put you in the tourneys    They should upgrade the software so that you maybe get a token or something like Stars do, if you withdraw, it ain't no good anywhere else mister.

Just a thought,

On the plus side, I guess that the $5 that gets taken in rake goes towards next weeks requirements?  $20 in rake is a good headstart, shame they don't offer 30% rakeback too

The following week they changed to this, which is better for me as I can pick and choose (ish 4 from 6 only 4 in evening).

Also when they paid you in with their money it was possible to unregister and keep the dough...which I presume was happening as I got a standardised email stating that doing this would forfeit the promotion for you.

Yes, last nights tournament does count as being part of the promotion. The reason why I didnt include it in my email was the fact that I was sending out the emails slightly later than planned.

ah ok..didn't know you could unregister...that explains the change.
