I have seen this type play on 4 other poker sites so to intimate its a Gutshot only problem is frankly absurd. Practically every poker club in London has modelled itself on Gutshot, including the introduction of Internet Cafe terminals, and by the very nature of Internet Cafes collusion is very easy to achieve while almost impossible to police.

Couple this with IRC chat programs (msn etc) and VOIP and collusion while playing online poker is easier then folding aces in the first hand of the WSOP main event with 3 all ins before you.

I accept everyone has an opinion but to single one cardroom out for it is just Gutshot bashing.

I'd love to know what sites you play on now because I can guarantee you there is collusion there as well.

IMHO.

I've seen matey chat on final tables on Laddies between people on Laddies, and then watched one of them with a big chip lead fold on the big blind to the other party who's all in for a trivial amount of extra chips.

Collusion or rank ignorance, who knows? But it will be everywhere.

Thx Tony, we are aware of it over on the Gutshot forum

As  for inthebelly, there s not collusion in the internet room and to make such a comment is ludicrous..........  If there is any collusion or discussion of hands in the room then people are clearly told about thee rules, In should know i play there every night.

oh dear....

sorry we don't allow links to other UK fora

Quote
my own thoughts on this and i stress they are only my own thoughts is that they were 2 mates putting there chips together so theres a better chance of one of them getting a ticket.

this is a big problem on gutshot sight and one of the reasons i dont play it anymore. i have seen with my own eyes upto 6/7 players all sitting next to each other in there internet room at the club playing as a team relaying hands and information to each other.

this may or may not be the case here but certainly by the way you've put it somethings not right!

2nd paragraph matey!

me Ma loves me thats who....

Prehaps it was the way you said, I wasn't trying to ridicule anyone, but it looked rather singular. "this is a big problem on gutshot sight and one of the reasons i dont play it anymore"

Its a huge problem on ALL online sites and it not easy to deal with.

But like you say, who cares?
