Saw him play a tiny gig in Reading a couple of weeks back, despite being over 3 hours late.. he was awesome!

I don't get the hype around this guy,  his songs aren't particularly good ,  he is a drug addict and yet he is famous and dates Kate Moss.   Why?     No way is he like Jimi Hendrix.   I think it was Newsnight that  compared him to Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison...     lol

Not sure the comparison was a musical one Sark, more likely they were making the point that it wouldn't be a huge surprise if he came to a premature end like the other names mentioned?   

To be fair he has written some good songs but is clearly one messed up guy now.

 I think everyone has missed the point here, i don't hate him for his drug taking, his music or the behaviour reported by the paparazzi.
 however I do hate him for the twattish looking hat he wears.

Yea, you are probably right mate.   I am just not a big fan of his music.   I think the other three were big musicians on a World stage,  he is only famous in the UK as far as I know

So let's get this right. Folkls paid to see this guy, & his respect for them, those that give him the non-working idyllic lifestyle he leads, allows him to turn up 3 hours late?
