I think you should continue to play both. there are differences between the two especially due to stack sizes, most people find cash harder but you will learn a lot more and become a better poker player if you stick with it.

6 months ain't a long time, it's normal to go through peaks and troughs especially as you learn new things and try to incorporate them in your game. I have been concentrating on cash for the last year and I had forgotten what a great buzz it is to get to a final table. I'm gonna start playing a lot more MTTs again now.

Like Tikay says, cash for dough, tourny for show.

You can play 50+ MTTs and not cash, but then one will come along and your in profit. Stick at it, but the cash games will keep your bankroll ticking over.

I just find MTT's totally boring nowadays. Live i guess they are ok but cash is infinitely more profitable for me. If you need to get ur poker mojo back, have a holiday.

You could always indulge in some other forms of poker. I've got into Omaha - in many ways a more interesting game than Hold 'Em. 7-Card Stud is good as well although I find it quite tricky.

I'd definately recommend playing other forms of poker.

Maybe Hold em isn't even your best game.

You could be a 7 card Stud/ Omaha / razz / 5 card draw / etc.... genius and you don't even know it yet!

I found playing 7 card stud made me really focus on what cards the other guy might have and when I went back to playing hold em I found my post flop play had improved.

Obviously there is no way of really actually proving this but I feel I am a better poker player in general from dabbling in other forms of poker.
