Ive just played a 30 rebuy at sheffield and heard a comment .

i was on the button and find A9 spades ,six limper's so i decide to raise it up .

just to get rid of the rag callers ,that you always get in these sort of events .

you know the 83 suited type of players .

anyway i have 5.3k in chips ,starting stack 1k ,30 Min's until buy ins finish .

i get 5 callers ,4 fold .

flop comes down 5 7 9 ,rainbow flop .

first to speak a very lose player makes it 700 to play .

all fold round to me ,i move all in glad to take the 2.7k there .

lose man calls in a flash ,he shows A 10 of .

wow I'm happy ,every one laughs ,turn 6 river 8 .

he scoops the pot ,i say i was glad he called ,he got lucky ,gl to him .

to which point one person on my table starts to abuse and threaten him .

this is sick ,the man put his chips in and deserves as much as the next man to win .

to put it lightly this man who wasn't in the pot ,decided to abuse him .

bring back the alan McLean's of the poker world .

whats happened to this game of ours .

I'm sure rob wont allow this in his club ,cant wait for DTD

Dubious call by him but not the worst I've ever seen that's for sure.

Maybe he correctly put you as not hitting your cards and thought his cards had you beat. Not a call a lot of people would make but it isn't so bad as to warrant a load of verbals from people. I blame Big Brother for this type of behaviour!
