i saw an advert in PIE today  for a series of comps on a cruise ship, each is limited to 500 runners


the final comps are buy ins of 1 million €


do you think people will actually play in this

or have i miss read something in the advert ( i was babysitting my newphew while reading it)

there are not 500 people in the world who would pay €1m to play in a poker tourney so i would guess its a mis-read.

How do you know there are not 500 ppl willing to poney up the dough?  I think its quite possible tbh, plenty of high stakes players and millionaire / billionaire gamblers

I heard about this as well in one of the monthly mags cant remember which one. Various other games on the cruise as well including monopoly backgammon and blackjack tournaments for high stakes.

What person in their right mind would allow ironside to look after a child ffs...(assuming a newphew is a type of child)
