Hello all!

I am going to a home game tonight and have been tasked to set up the structure.  We are aiming to play 4 mini tournies each to last about 50 mins to an hour.  I would like to go for the old tribecca structure but forget how it wend for the STTs.

Can anybody remember it!?

If they're only an hour then you'll be looking at each one only lasting about 25-30 hands at most.

We tend to play the Laddies SnG structure at our homegames with 1500 chips and 20 minute blinds:

10/20
15/30
25/50
50/100
100/200
200/400
400/800
500/1000

When 6 or 7 handed, and given a spread of ability, we rarely get past the 200/400 level which allows three games per 7pm - 1am evening. We were 9 handed for first two game last night and 8 handed for the third and wrapped up at 1am with a deal when heads up.

If you want there to be any semblance of poker played you need to look to make them last a couple of hours each if possible. I know it's tough for those that get knocked out early, but you need to allow for some proper poker.
