Connect TomTom to computer -- open Windows explorer/my computer -- should see device (prob E:) copy ov2 file to directory E:\United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland

There is no device "E" We have TomTom Home in "F" but that just opens a dedicated update programme.

I can't see how to access file directory E:\United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland.

If I do manage to download this file to the correct place, how do I then locate it on the TomTom? Will it be listed as a POI?

When you attach the TomTom to the computer via the USB connection -- in Windows explorer under my computer you should see a drive (E/F or whatever) click on that and you should see the directory structure of the device. The directory you want to copy to will be called UK something or other.

Yes they will then appear in your POI
