You folded leaving yourself with 655 ?

I am never passing once seeing this flop and I want to get my money in first BEFORE the turn.

You are favorite over many hands, and even if he has a set, you are not that far behind.

Bet more on flop and  push if re-raised.

I don't understand the turn fold.

3 paid, 4 left.
I know the fold is horrible but i thought i'd put myself into an impossible situation.
I did get 3rd so the argument for the fold i there i guess, it's the flop play i mangled.
I guess if i'm folding the turn i shouldn't call the reraise?

This statement is the wrong way to think about decisions.

The result is not relevent to making the right decision.

2 overcards and nut flush draw vs (lets say as good as QQ - which I cannot see vilian having anyway) - you are favorite.
Wosre case scenario - he has got lucky and flopped a set (which I doubt as well from his betting) - you are not that far behind

This hand is a no brainer for me

I agree with what your saying paul but he is

25/75 against a set on the flop

Assuming a $100:$60:$40 pay-out, then- all else being equal- your equity is $21 if you fold the turn. If you call and win the pot then your equity is $59.*

Therefore, you need ~2/1 odds to make the turn call correct- which you have if all clubs, aces and kings will win you the pot. Realistically, they may not all be good, so the turn fold in itself isn't that bad.

However, the problem is with the flop play. If you're going to fold on the turn if you miss then you're better off just calling his flop raise or even just c/c the flop and turn! (Although bet/jamming the flop has to be preferable surely.)

Yes, ok "not that far behind" was slightly exagerated.

If IFM wants to play this hand passively, surely check calling the flop is best for him? He may even get to check call the turn.

I would not play it that way though, my money is going in on the flop.

Hi mate, have to say flop play is where it goes tits up. Continuation bet is too small, i prefer continuation bet of 2/3- 3/4 of pot. When you get min-raised, its villain dependant but normally i dont fold these hands in this format. Your response when he min check-raises you should be a fist pump power thrust and you should move in here.

The way its bet on the flop I think your last bet there has to be all in or pass, you have commited a big % of your stack by calling the last raise.

RE the continuation bet size, this is on laddies and i haven't played there for a while, they have these 2X 3X etc. buttons for betting and i'm not too familiar with them as yet.
I normally always CB 3/4-2/3 of the pot.
That and because i had a lag cuz i was downloading something at the time (you have less time when this happens) i just poked at the button.

Usually when the pot gets 3 bet and subsequently 4-bet on the flop - with one player having over half his stack in the middle - all the chips fly in. This hand is a first for me.
