best book?..Mila18 is a beautiful read about the Jewish Ghetto in Warsaw during WW2.

Pokerbook? Supersystem 2 is a clear winner there..though I'd suggest buying pokerplayer magazines and all that sort of thing first..more fun..free games and loads of knowledge tucked into a 2.75£ mag... Smiley
championship no limit and pot limit holdem by cloutier and mcelvoy and play like the pro's by phil helmuth,
Would they have them in whsmiths or order over internet best? thanks

Already gave her one book.  The Chicka is serious....blimey!!!!  Who woulda thunk it?  Help her out lads.  Cheers!!!
I can be a good girl sometimes and read - whilst drinking of course might get a bit blurring towards the end, but by that point you shut one eye and carry on reading and its clear again. lol

You don't need a book you need a few lessons. We can even make it drinking poker.

It's £1.50 an issue in WHSmith. It will prob be available for free in your local card room (if you have one) or online it's 12 issues delivered to your door for £5.

Do you live in ireland then? Kind of getting the whole idea of poker but do need some help and advice about where to play and what to play etc. Get all the hands just trying to figure out now how to work out the odds. Need some lessons definately. Anyone available?
