Plasma advice required.

Our TV packed in just before christmas and the wife went out and bought a 50" Samsung Plasma and passed it off as my christmas present.
Scuppered my chances of a trip to Vegas for my present two years in a row.
However almost since we've had it, after it's been on it starts to get vertical green lines down the screen, it's not noticeable unless the background is black and these lines pop up at random places on the screen, I had three of these lines on the screen when watching the movie 300 which was annoying as it had lots of dark scenes.
Has anyone experienced these problems before, could it be interference from the Sky+ box, not got around to calling their support yet and was wondering if anyone had heard of this problem before..

i also bought a 50" samsung plasma just before xmas ive had no problems with green lines. its not the movie thats the problem is it?
