I hate this hand.
6-handed $1/2 cash table. Two regular players, two unknowns (but not playing multiple tables) and one obvious fish.
You raise it up to $7 from utg+1. 2 seats along, one of the regulars makes it $23. Have been playing for about 45 mins and he has done this once before, on which occasion I folded A-T.
(1) What should I do in these situations? They seem to crop up a lot (with other 'touch-and-go' hands), and it is often a regular who is doing the raising and putting me to a decision.
(2) How does your decision differ with Q-Q, T-T, A-K?

1)Flat the 3 bet reasses on the flop is my default without too much history.
2) I flat the 3 bet with all these hands as well.
When we build up history over x amount of hands, we can start 4 betting with alot of our range if villain is 3 betting us light or even flatting with hands like qq as a trap and then check raising over villians inevitable c-bets. Hell we can occasionally fold jj type hands if needs be.

What would you do an a raggy flop against a stronger player who makes these reraises every now and then, and always in position (ie. ot so often that it looks like an obvious power play)? Is it not best to put him to a decision preflop if you're going to play the hand? Perhaps that way he'll think twice next time.

I'm likely to flat with the TT/JJ/ and 4 bet with the QQ. With AK it depends on how the table has been playing, more often than not I flat with intention of check raising most c bets if I hit. I really do hate AK at the moment can't seem to win a hand with it.

Thats pretty much it... trouble is when you get an 8 high raggy flop and stare a cold deck in the face what then

then we play the streets, need some kind of board texture to get a solution.

JJ dont over play it i find players over play JJ to much there effectivly the same hand v AK (minus taking off 3% for AK making a str8 ) as 99/88/77 etc etc... so u are ahead but your still racing..
