newish to this just after some advice

Should I be playing suited connectors and hands like 5 7 off etc etc in lateish position if there have been 2/3 limpers into the pot.

No 1 - Is that ok play?

No 2 - Should i also play those sort of hands from a late position if every one has folded in front of me, how about 2 a raise?

any advice or tips much appreciated, as I am looking to develop my play now from just waiting for premium hands.

Ah..suited connectors. Good question, very important indeed.

Question 1; Yes..always a good idea.

Question 2; Depends on who raises. I sometimes call a raise with them (if I can afford it and if the oppo  can be outplayed if I miss/will pay me off if I hit..actually in that case I call all the time) Also feel free to raise with the from latish position.

Suited connectors are beautiful little things.

unless there is deep stacks in releation to the blinds its not worth calling raises with them but limping in unraised pots is fine if there is a deep stacks out there so you can get paid if you hit

but if there is no one in the pot it is worth raising with them

Limping is fine if you like that sort of thing , but in lateish position why not try raising with them? It adds disguise to your hand and enables you to control the destiny of the pot better.

early doors is the time for suited connectoers, they lose value at the business end.

generally look for multiway pots to give yourself a better chance of finding someone to pay you off should you hit gold.

if you have a big stack they still have a lot of value around middle/bubble time.

but be disciplined with them, hittin top pair with 78 is still just a pair of eights without much power facing big action.
