So glad you're still going to the bash before you take the break and please don't disappear altogether.  You're a pure sweetheart of a lad.  Timothy and I wish you and yours all the best.

It would be an act of extreme magic-ness for someone of Snat's ample girth & pleasing plumpness to disappear. I suppose he could hide behind a bus.

Best of luck to you Snat.  I'm in a simliar boat and am going to have to take a break from the game, although it's not entirely voluntary Sad  I'll happily admit I'm addicted to poker - I love it - so it's going to be tough.

Welcome to blonde Joobie, and good luck in your quest for a new mentor!

A friend of mine wants to know how to delete a thread he did drooling about a young lady he saw on Sky Poker. If you can let me know I will pass the advice on. Cheers.

Okay i had better come clean and this is not going to be a short post.....
To set the scene.
This year is Adams barmitzvah. Because of the series of functions that I want to have, to celebrate this event it is going to cost a very large amount of money(take a number and double it). No getting away from that and it is my and Mrs. Snats choice.
I changed jobs six months ago and currently I am really enjoying my new position.

Now to the poker. Recently I have found myself not enjoying the game or my reaction to the game nearly as much. What was once new and exciting had become a little boring and time consuming. Also of late I found the game intruding into my job and my behaviour with my family not as it should be.

When you find yourself analysing things like this then you know you need a change. So I have decided to have a nice long sabbatical away from the game. I just can't sit down at the table worrying about having a long losing run and thinking what I could have done with the money, or worrying about getting up the following morning and making mistakes that could cost my company a lot of money. Also I am much calmer when I am away from the game.

So the plan is this. I have one sunday warm up ticket on stars that i will play at some point. I will go to BB6. I will go to Tramore. After that you will not see me at a live tournament or online for probably quite a while. Never say never as they say.

I have in the last five years done some amazing things due to poker, a cruise, TV,the bahamas,TV, the WSOP,TV,festival finishes,TV, the Irish open and of course TV but most of all I have met some truly amazing people. I intend to be on the forum from time to time because most of those people are on here but not talking about the game. So Joobie needs a new mentor.....good company that Joobie.

I wish you all luck at the table

Snat

what a totally unselfish attitude, tops man snat!
